A New York-based writer with a Midwestern inferiority complex, Caroline Tsai is currently a showrunner’s assistant on Season 2 of THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY. In a past life, she was a teenage poet, an intern in a small-town local newsroom, and a freelance film critic. Proudly Taiwanese-American, Caroline specializes in female coming-of-age stories and quirky ensemble comedies. Her pilot Charade was a semi-finalist for the 2022 Script Lab Free Screenplay Contest and ranks in the top overall 10 percent on Coverfly, where she is an endorsed writer. She is a 2023 CAPE New Writer and is represented by Artists First.
